The Museums under the Sarawak Museum Department are open as follows
For Borneo Cultures Museum, Sungai Jaong, Wallace Center and Bongkissam and Bukit Maras.

Do I need to book online or can I come by walk-in?
Currently, only Borneo Cultures Museum provides online booking and walk-in ticket purchase at the counter.
For outdoor museums, visitors can come by walk-in for free.
How much are the tickets for adults and children?
Admission is free for the following museums:

Payment can be made via Online Booking, S-PAY e-wallet, Cash and credit/debit card.
Does the museum provide wheelchairs for senior citizens or people in need?
Yes, we provide wheelchair services for senior citizens and people in need. You can request the use of a wheelchair at the BCM counter.
Does the Museum provide guided tour services to the public?
Guided tours at BCM are conducted by Curators and staff of the Sarawak Museum Department. You can request a walk-in guided tour (limited) at the BCM information counter or make a reservation 2 weeks before the date of visit. For more information, call +6082-548215 (Borneo Cultures Museum).
Does the museum have a Lost & Found section to claim lost items?
Lost & Found is available at the BCM information counter
What is the dress code that I must adhere to when visiting the Museum?
The Museum encourages visitors to wear modest clothing.
Does the museum provide shelves for storing items?
Storage shelves are only available at BCM and you can ask for more information at the BCM counter.
Can I bring food and drinks into the museum?
Visitors are strictly prohibited from bringing food and drinks into the museum's permanent exhibition gallery.

For an application to make a recording at any museum under the Sarawak Museum Department, you need to submit an application to the Sarawak Museum Department. Contact +6082-548181 (Main Office) for more information.

There is no limit.

Yes, we provide training modules for students which will be sent with the application approval letter via email. The visit coordinator needs to print the provided modules themselves before coming to visit the Sarawak Museum Department.
