Abstract:
A revision of the lepturine longhorn beetles deposited in the Sarawak Museum insect collection is presented. The generic nomenclature of a total of 7 genera and 9 species represented in the collection is reviewed. For each species, the number of specimens, sex, locality and date are given, and in some cases, the name of the collector is included. An account of the 9 species preserved in this historical collection is also presented. Most of these specieswere collected in Sarawak from 1866-1914. B.lacomia histrionica (Pascoe, 1868) is herewith, reported from Borneo for the first time.
