Sarawakku Sayang Programme, Sibu Division 2026 SIBU: Highlights from the vibrant Opening Ceremony of the Sarawakku Sayang Programme, Sibu Division 2026, which was officially officiated by the Right Honourable Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr.) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg. Also in attendance to grace the event were the Director of the Sarawak Museum Department (SMD), Puan Anielia anak Siam, alongside the Head of the Central Zone Office (CZO), Puan Seellren Anak Anthony. During the event, the Director of SMD and the Head of CZO had the opportunity to take a memorable photo with YB Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak, at the Sibu Division Resident’s Office exhibition booth. The Sibu history panel exhibition on display is a collaborative effort between the Sarawak Museum Department (SMD), through its Central Zone Office (CZO), and the Sibu Division Resident’s Office. Additionally, the Director of SMD took the opportunity to network and interact with the guests and exhibitors present, capturing special moments from the event.
