Tuesday, 10 March 2026 – The Sarawak Museum Department would like to express its deepest appreciation to His Excellency Marc Abensour, the French Ambassador to Malaysia who was present with the Counsellor for Cultural Cooperation and Action, Thierry d’Anna, for his courtesy visit to the Borneo Cultures Museum.
His arrival was welcomed by the Director of the Sarawak Museum Department, Mrs. Nancy Hj Jolhi. Subsequently, he and the delegation were taken to visit the gallery to take a closer look at the heritage treasures on display.
As a symbol of appreciation, a souvenir in the form of a Borneo Cultures Museum coffee table book was presented by the Director to him as further information about this museum. Hopefully this visit will provide a meaningful experience and will be able to establish closer collaboration in the future.
