Saturday, 21 June 2025 – YB Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Minister of Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts Sarawak, officiated the opening of the Brunei-Sarawak Joint Arts and Culture Exhibition held at the Borneo Cultures Museum (BCM).
      This exhibition is a collaboration between the Sarawak Artists Society (SAS), the Sarawak Museum Department and artists from Brunei and runs from 20 to 26 June 2025. It is the first time it has been held with the participation of 64 artists who have exhibited 99 of their works.
       Also present were YB Datuk Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew, Deputy Minister of Tourism, , His Excellency Encik Sheikh Abdul Mahdani bin Dato Paduka Sheikh Haji Abdul Gani, Consul General of Brunei to Sarawak, Datu Sherrina binti Hussaini, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts Sarawak (MTCP), Puan Nancy Hj Jolhi, Director of the Sarawak Museum Department, and Encik Sebastian Jong, President of the Sarawak Artists Society (SAS) as the organiser.
