Borneo Cultures Museum has received an official visit from YAA Tun Tengku Maimun binti Tuan Mat, Chief Justice.
Thursday, 14 November 2024: Borneo Cultures Museum received an official visit from YAA Tun Tengku Maimun binti Tuan Mat, Chief Justice. His presence with the delegation was welcomed by the Director of the Sarawak Museum Department, Mrs. Nancy Hj Jolhi, and accompanied on a guided tour by the curator of the Sarawak Museum Department. Also participating in this visit were YAA Tan Sri Dato' Sri Abang Iskandar bin Abang Hashim, President of the Court of Appeal and YAA Dato' Sri Hasnah binti Dato' Mohammed Hashim, Chief Justice of Malaya. Thank you to the Chief Justice and the delegation for visiting the Borneo Cultures Museum.

We are proud to share that the Sarawak Museum Department is a key partner in the UNESCO Field Evaluation Mission. This mission will review some of Sarawak’s important cultural and natural sites. These include the Borneo Cultures Museum, Sungai Jaong Archeological Park and Tuang Schist Semeba.
