The Sarawak Museum Department is pleased to announce that starting
8th January 2024, The Sarawak Museum Departmetn Library, Level 2, Annex Building is open to school students from From 4 to Form 6, IPTA/IPTS students (By appointment) and researchers (By approval letter from the Director of the Department Sarawak Museum).
Operation Hours:
Monday to Thursday : 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
2:15 pm - 4:30 pm
Friday : 9:00 am - 11:30 am
2:15 pm - 4:30 pm
Satuday, Sunday and Public Holiday : Closed
Rules during the visit:
To ensure a condusive and respectful environment for all visitors, visitors must adhere to the following rules:
Registration : All visitors are required to register at the Annex Building lobby (Level 1) with an assigned guard and please note the time of entry and exit.
Borrowing Books : Borrowing books is not allowed. These resources are only for reference in the premises only.
Keeping order : To maintain a good learning environment, visitors are prohibited from making noise while inside the library.
Dispose of garbage : Please make sure the cleanliness of the library is maintained by throwing trash into the bins provided. Disposing of garbage indiscriminately is prohibited.
Clothes : Please dress neatly and politely when visiting the library.
Food and drinks : Bringing food and drink is not allowed inside the library premises.
Photography : It is forbidden to take pictures in the library.
