Museum Educational Program 2024 with Kolej Komuniti Kuching dan Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS)
Saturday, 10 August 2024 - The Sarawak Museum Department held the Museum Educational Program 2024 at the Borneo Cultures Museum. For this session, two public higher education institutions (IPTAs) have been invited to participate in the program, namely Kuching Community College and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS).
The program begins with a briefing session on the artefacts found in each gallery, followed by a visit to the GAIA (The Earth) temporary exhibition. Next, a group activity session was held, where students had the opportunity to improve team spirit, cooperation, integrity, and love for Sarawak's history and heritage. In addition, this activity also helps the students to get to know the archaeological materials in Sarawak more deeply.
Before dispersing, the students and accompanying lecturers each received souvenirs from the Sarawak Museum Department. Hopefully this program will benefit all students who attend. Thank you to Kuching Community College and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) for sending students to participate in this program.
