Saturday, 3 August 2024 - The Sarawak Museum Department has organized the Museum Educational Program 2024 at the Borneo Cultures Museum. This program will be held every Saturday starting August 3 until August 24. It involves 6 schools and 2 IPTAs. In this session, two schools were invited to participate in the program, namely SMK Tun Abang Haji Openg and SMK Petra Jaya.
The school students were welcomed by Mrs. Nancy Hj Jolhi, Director of the Sarawak Museum Department. He also presented souvenirs to the accompanying teachers. The program begins with a guided tour of each gallery and viewing the temporary exhibition GAIA by Luke Jerram (The Earth). Then, the program continued with group activities such as Cup Range, Saya Anak Malaysia, Traditional Games and Archaeological Discovery.

We are proud to share that the Sarawak Museum Department is a key partner in the UNESCO Field Evaluation Mission. This mission will review some of Sarawak’s important cultural and natural sites. These include the Borneo Cultures Museum, Sungai Jaong Archeological Park and Tuang Schist Semeba.
