Borneo Cultures Museum received a visit from New Zealand Delegation
Monday, 1 July 2024 - Borneo Cultures Museum received a visit from New Zealand Delegation that consists of New Zealand government agencies and New Zealand related business councils. The delegation was led by Deputy High Commissioner to Malaysia, Dr Sharmila Bernau.
Their arrival was welcomed by Puan Nancy Hj Jolhi, the Director of Sarawak Museum Department. Also accompanying Datu Dr Rashidah binti Hj Bolhassan, Special Administrative Officer from Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak, Puan Sharzede Datu Hj Salleh Askor, the CEO of Sarawak Tourism Board and Puan Dayang Mariana Binti Hj Abang Bolhassan, the CEO of Sarawak Arts Council.
Sarawak Museum Departmetn is a key partner in the UNESCO Field Evaluation Mission
We are proud to share that the Sarawak Museum Department is a key partner in the UNESCO Field Evaluation Mission. This mission will review some of Sarawak’s important cultural and natural sites. These include the Borneo Cultures Museum, Sungai Jaong Archeological Park and Tuang Schist Semeba.
