Penang, 18 May 2024: Sarawak's Minister of Tourism, Creative Industries, and Performing Arts, YB Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah and his wife attended the Opening Ceremony of International Museum Day 2024 which was held at Dewan Sri Pinang, Georgetown. Also present were the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts Sarawak, Datu Sherrina binti Hussaini, and the Director of the Sarawak Museum Department, Mrs. Nancy Jolhi.

YB Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman also spent time visiting the Sarawak Museum Department's exhibition booth with the theme "SARAWAKIAN PEOPLE: COME LEARN WITH US".

The Opening Ceremony of International Museum Day 2024 was officiated by the Chief Minister of Penang, YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow.
