Kuching - The Sarawak Museum Department held a Heritage Preservation and Conservation Briefing on 30 April 2024 at the Borneo Cultures Museum Auditorium. The objective of this program is to spread awareness about the Sarawak Heritage Ordinance, 2019 which has been enforced since 1 March 2022 to new staff and industrial training students. In addition, this program also aims to strengthen friendships among Sarawak Museum Department staff. Among the topics presented are enforcement, gazetting, licensing and heritage conservation.
