Tengku Hassanal visits Borneo Cultures Museum

KUCHING : The Regent of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, visited the Borneo Cultures Museum here today.
Tengku Hassanal arrived at 1.10 pm and was welcomed by Deputy Minister for Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Sarawak Datuk Gerald Rentap Jabu and Deputy Minister for Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi.Tengku Hassanal spent about two hours exploring collections related to Borneo communities which featured various cultures, history and the collections in several main galleries such as the Galeri Objek Idaman, Galeri Peredaran Masa and Galeri Keharmonian Alam dan Manusia.
Earlier today, Tengku Hassanal visited the Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) Tower and the office of Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (PETROS) at Icom Square where he was briefed on the Sarawak Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage Strategy.At the SEB Tower, he had the opportunity to test drive a hydrogen-powered car.
Tonight, Tengku Hassanal is scheduled to attend a state banquet at a prominent hotel here, which will also be attended by Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.—BERNAMA
